Be A Mentor
Each mentor will be a caring professional who is uniquely qualified to be effective and therapeutic. All of our team members are individuals that want to make a difference in a child's life. The qualified candidate will meet the following requirements: Possess Associate, Bachelor or Master Degrees, or have 3 years experience working in the Psychiatric, Social Services, Child Welfare, Educational or Corrections fields or other professions that would uniquely qualify the Mentor to render the most effective and therapeutic services. Additionally Mentors must:
•Be at least 25 years of age
•Have the time, desire and the energy to engage a youth a various activities
•Possess a valid drivers license, have good transportation, and vehicular insurance
•Are drug free
•Have pleasant personality
•Have good verbal communications and writing skills
•Can pass a criminal background check and child welfare screening
Be A Tutor
Tutors will be qualified and caring degreed professionals who will render individualized tutoring in or out of the home. The ideal Tutor will have a Bachelors Degree in education or education related field, or be a certified teacher. The Tutor must be willing to commit to students for at least three to six months for at least 3 hours per week. Additionally Tutors must:
•Be at least 25 years of age
•Have the time, desire and the energy to instruct youth at various levels of functioning
•Possess a valid drivers license, have good transportation, and vehicular insurance
•Are drug free
•Have pleasant personality
•Have good verbal communications and writing skills
•Can pass a criminal background check and child welfare screening
